How we work
We never modify core, because every modification is a tax on every future upgrade — customisation goes through plugins, observers and proper extension points. Caching is configured properly from the start, since Magento without full-page caching and Elasticsearch is slow regardless of hardware. Third-party extensions are audited before installation, as conflicts between them are the most common source of upgrade failure.

Magento or Shopify?
Shopify unless you genuinely need what Magento offers — large catalogues, complex B2B pricing, or multi-store operations. Magento's flexibility comes with hosting and maintenance costs that only make sense at that complexity.
We are still on Magento 1 — what now?
Magento 1 has been end of life since 2020 and receives no security updates. That is a migration, not an upgrade, and it should be planned rather than deferred further.
