How CodeInfluencer IT Solution LLP collects, uses and protects your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how CodeInfluencer IT Solution LLP ("CodeInfluencer", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit codeinfluencer.com, contact us, apply for a role with us, or engage us to build or operate software.

Two different roles
This policy covers two distinct situations, and your rights differ between them:
- Our own website and business. When you browse this site, submit an enquiry or apply for a job, we decide why and how your data is used. We are the controller.
- Client projects. When we build or operate software for a client, any personal data inside that system belongs to the client. They decide what is collected and why; we act on their written instructions. We are a processor, and the client's own privacy policy governs that data. Our obligations in that role are set out in the agreement we sign with them, not here.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiries. Name, email address, phone number, company, and whatever you choose to write in the message.
- Job applications. Name, contact details, CV or resume, and any supporting information you send.
- Correspondence. Email, chat and call records where you contact us directly.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See the cookies section below.
We do not ask for special category data (health, biometrics, religious or political views) and ask that you do not send it to us unsolicited.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis

Artificial intelligence and automated processing
Much of our work involves building AI systems, so we want to be specific about what that means for your data.
- We do not put your enquiry or your CV into a third-party AI model. Messages you send us through this site are read by people.
- We do not make automated decisions about you that produce a legal or similarly significant effect. Job applications are assessed by people.
- On client projects, where an AI provider processes data, that provider acts as a sub-processor under the client's instructions. Which provider is used, and whether the model is hosted or self-hosted, is agreed with the client in writing before any data reaches it. Where data cannot leave a client's infrastructure we deploy self-hosted models so that it does not.
- We do not use your personal data to train models, our own or anyone else's.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate — hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, and website analytics. They may only use the data to provide that service to us.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose, or to establish or defend legal claims.
- An acquirer, if the business is sold or merged. You will be told before your data becomes subject to a different policy.

International transfers
We are in India, and some of our service providers are outside India. Where personal data moves across borders we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, and take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that the recipient protects it to a comparable standard.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the life of the engagement and for as long afterwards as tax and contractual limitation periods require.
- Job applications: up to 12 months, so we can contact you about a suitable role, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Website analytics: aggregated, and retained no longer than needed to understand usage trends.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to function, and — only with your consent — cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings; the site will still work, though some preferences will not persist.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have data erased, where we have no continuing basis to keep it
- Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
- Complain to your data protection authority
If you are in India, these rights arise under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are in the UK or EEA, they arise under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR respectively.
To exercise any of them, email info@codeinfluencer.com. We will respond within the period the applicable law requires, and we will not charge you for a reasonable request.
Where we hold data as a processor on a client's behalf, we will refer your request to that client, who is the controller, and assist them in answering it.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege access and regular dependency patching to protect personal data. Applicant CVs are stored privately and are not served from a public web path.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal data and is likely to result in a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site links to third-party sites, including our profiles on Clutch, GoodFirms, LinkedIn and other platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before providing data.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged more prominently. Please check back periodically.
