How we approached it
We worked within Shopify rather than around it, so payments, tax and PCI compliance stay the platform's problem. The theme was built custom against the client's brand instead of adapting a purchased one, and third-party integrations were kept deliberately few — every app adds scripts to the page that has to convert.
