Counseal helps people get legal help for their business or project in Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda or Ghana. It connects users with vetted legal experts and lets them manage their affairs back home from a mobile app.
The challenge
People running businesses or projects across several African countries needed an easy way to reach vetted legal experts and manage their affairs remotely.
Our solution
We built the app using Draftbit and managed its content and APIs with Strapi CMS. Users can manage their business and projects back home, ask legal questions and get answers from vetted experts, and collaborate with a lawyer to handle issues for them.
How we approached it
The matching model between users and vetted legal experts was settled first, since it defines both the data and the trust proposition. Strapi provided the content and expert directory so the client could manage listings without engineering, the mobile client was built against a REST layer designed for it, and third-party integrations were added last behind that same API boundary.
The results
Gave users across Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and Ghana a single app to reach vetted legal experts and manage their business affairs remotely.
